ACCREU Kick-off meeting was held on 22 and 23 June 2023 at Ca’ Foscari University – San Giobbe Campus – in Venice. Representatives of all 14 project partners were invited to participate in the meeting, whose objectives were to:
- Present an update on the planned activities to be implemented in the course of the project lifespan (42 months);
- Agree on project priorities and main outputs;
- Trigger a discussion on synergies, creating links with other research projects.
ACCREU has received EC fundings (EUR 4.587.912,50) through Horizon Europe RIA (and will contribute to just transition towards climate resilience in the EU, its Member States and regions by co-creating and co-delivering with a wide array of stakeholders, new knowledge and actionable insights that connect the challenges of adaptation and mitigation with the multiple and new challenges our society is facing.
At the scientific level, ACCREU will provide a comprehensive, integrated, co-created, socio-economic evaluation of future climate risk under different adaptation and mitigation scenarios, across European countries, sectors, households and business types.
